I'm not trying to kill Reddit. I'm just not going to use it as it's sacrificing quality.
I used Netflix for a long time too, but streaming has become so fragmented and the prices keep creeping up I'm back to using piracy. I don't care that people are still using Netflix, but the service isn't worth using for me personally.
Same with Reddit. When I can't use third party apps then I'm done. The default app was a bad experience, the mobile web interface is a bad experience. The difference between a community with 3 million users and a community with 150,000 users isn't much. It's guaranteed that people will cross-post popular content from Reddit so you're not missing out on any content.
