There also wasn't just one model then, it was a mess of different hardware vendors.

And I suppose anyone can get a random mini PC and install Steam on it…

Steam OS 3 isn't fully released yet no? People just use HoloISO IIRC

@nivenkos Yeah that is correct I believe, still no actual release of it besides system images for Steam Deck.
