Now maybe fix the AI pathing to keep your idiot party members from stepping on already-discovered traps?
The annoying thing is that this was already an issue in Divinity II... Probably something to do with the engine as they made that themselves as well. I love both games a tonne, but this is definitely an issue that they seem to be repeating...
I spent a good 10 minutes this morning jumping off a table that my party members couldn't jump off to follow only to switch characters and the ones I just moved jump right back on. Annoying but still having tons of fun with the game so far.
"Split" the party if this happens again. They should stand in place if they aren't grouped with the character you're currently in control of.
Yeah I usually do but it was one of those things where I didn't think it would be so hard and so I awkwardly (and stubbornly) did it that way lol.
Yes! This happens to me constantly. My only major gripe so far.
Anyone know if enemies trigger traps in BG3? Something I see in other CRPGs (Pathfinder and Rogue Trader, specifically) is that enemies will walk right through traps without setting them off. It's particularly frustrating if you learn this only after you've spotted a trap and then you try to lead the enemies into it and it doesn't affect them.
Honestly the follow mode is just frutrating. Let me drag and select and move party members and set formations as needed like in the old bg but add some modern pathfinding like dont walk into traps. The amount of times I misclick on a damn member and they start a dialogue is driving me nuts.
Yeah I've had to walk them around traps individually, very tedious
