Yeah, you're politically broken.
You can't simultaneously be against genocide while also helping to trigger a genocide in the space you're from and also making the thing you "care" about much, much worse.
You helped do this. You can't weasel your way out of it, because you are actively advocating for it in this very thread.
You just want silence from the people who don't like selling arms to murder Palestinians with.
During the run up to the election, pro-genocide centrists (there has never been nor ever will be another kind) kept saying "you don't have to agree with harris about everything in order to vote for her!" Guess that was a fucking lie to get chumps like me to vote for genocidal shit.
Centrists scream that progressives are unreasonable for having standards. They holler "purity test!" any time they encounter criticism for anything they do, no matter how reprehensible. But when someone actually compromises their standards like centrists claim to want, they then scream at them for not applying one of the purity tests they claim to hate.
You just want silence from your left while you move so far to the right that genocide is on the table where you want it.
Here, how about this.
Since trump won, do you think that the genocide in Palestine has gotten better, worse, or stayed the same?
Worse. Naturally.
Now you're going to try to Socratic Method me into silence about the genocide you live for.
Yeah my dude.
Do you think your very vocal position helped that position?
The position of the anti-genocide left was held by too few people to make an impact, so we were ignored. Remember?
Of course, this was before you lost and needed someone to blame.
So.... yes or no?
My position doesn't matter, remember? So no. My position did not help trump get elected. No matter how much you disagree with my position that there should be living Palestinians.
If you want to continue to argue that being opposed to your genocide caused trump's election, then you can admit that your party should have listened to the anti-genocide left.
congrats on being purposefully ignorant.
I can only assume you are effectively a child - somewhere under the age of 25.
And when centrists run out of arguments for their reprehensible support for genocide, they start calling people children.
Concession accepted.
It's child-like to uphold exactly one ideal.
Children say my toy is the best and no other toy can compare.
If you recall, you condemned me for compromising my morals to vote for the pro-genocide candidate you wanted.
And yet, you keep shouting it at the top of your lungs.
I mean, I want to have a party I can vote for without compromising my morals.
Your vote compromised none of yours.
If that is the case, you will never vote again.
You are a great example of letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.
So fucking stupid, nothing will ever be perfect. Grow up.
I said I want to have a party that I can vote for without compromising my morals, not that I would not vote.
As you already condemned me for, I voted for harris.
Nope, but the party can get better. Just not with the silence you demand.
