The songs don't necessarily have to be by a Japanese artist, but they should be in Japanese. This allows, for example, a non-Japanese Vtuber's Japanese songs and/or covers.

Have fun discovering songs you might've not known of or sharing your own favorites. And of course, don't insult someone for their music tastes (nor for other reasons).

Let's kick things off with what is, well, probably a hard question, to get to know each other, since this is a new community. What is your favorite Japanese song?

I know a lot of people, myself included, would have a hard time deciding on a number 1, especially since it can and will change over time. So feel free to list several of your favorites if you can't choose. I'll post mine as well in a comment below.

I'm a weeb so 90% of the Japanese songs on my playlist are from anime. My most listened to song on youtube music for three years running is Kyoumen no Nami

Aporia and Deep Indigo share a distant second place

I would be remiss if I didn't include my favorite (unofficial) music video for a Japanese song
