We had a couple of reports today of vote manipulation happening in the Australia community. After investigating, I'm seeing a trend:

The votes in all these posts look like this. In this example, only two of the downvotes look legitimate. The rest are coming from three instances that don't appear to be real Lemmy sites. One of them doesn't even resolve.

I often downvote Hotznplozn’s posts because those posts are exclusively warmongering propaganda. That is literally the only posts they make here, so I’m usually downvoting them whenever they appear here. Other users have reported them, and their previous aliases, in the Overseas News comm so I’m not alone in thinking this.

I've avoided mentioning them by name in my comments in this thread and elsewhere, but I agree on this.

Haven't been dedicated to downvoting it all the time, but the one track posting behaviour is uncomfortable to see. Its such an unapologetic agenda. I suppose there could be something to respect in it as a user's goal, i don't know.
