Nails hurt but wont kill
Bullshit, they can DEFINITELY kill if they hit the head or heart.
There are a handful of places that you can get hit by a nail fired with the speed of a shotgun that won't kill you, but there are many, many more places that will.
Are you serious? Go talk to people about nail gun accidents. Most of your body can get shot with a nail.
Force = Mass * Acceleration.
A nail gun does not have the same amount of explosive power that a shotgun does, and it is typically mechanically limited to driving the nail head flush with the surface of whatever it's attached to.
Shotguns do not have the precision or the initial driving force of a nail gun but they have a lot more follow-through when they do hit.
A nail coming out of a shot gun isn't moving like a peklet or slug would. It isn't going to tear a massive hole in your body and believe it or not you can lose whole chunks of yourself and live.
If you had to choose Between being hit in the stomach by a nail gun at point-blank range, or hit in the stomach by a shotgun loaded with nail shot at point-blank range, which one would you choose?
Do you have any clue what ypu are talking about? Ypu first assert that getting shot in most of your body with nails will kill you (it wont) and now you are mistaking the question entirely.
You can get shot by nails in most parts of ypur body just like you can be shot with bullets in most of your body. Nails coming from a shell casing will not ge travelling with the same energy as pellets.
The difference is the method of nail delivery.
You are more likely to sustain serious damage when a nail is fired at you from a shotgun than from a nail gun.
Yes but it still wont be enough to kill you. If I shoot you in the leg with a shotgun you might lose your leg but you’ll live. If I shoot you with nails from a shotgun you might keep the leg.
