I use pirate IPTV to watch sports, primarily baseball. I refuse to sub to cable just to watch baseball, when the other 99% of channels I'd never once turn on. I haven't subbed to cable in over 15 years, and never will again. Also cut my Netflix sub once they started losing content during the streaming wars. Never again. IPTV + Plex for me.
Might want to consider switching to jellyfin with all the tracking and feature loss going on with plex

They need apps on consoles

All the more reason why I'm glad to be leaving consoles in my past. I'm done with locked down systems and walled gardens.
I don't disagree but we have hundreds of millions of these devices flaoting out there for the next 10-20 years.
I am going hard Foss but I ain't replacing perfectly working devices until they are dead.
Environment comes before FOSS for me for now at least.
