Like his predecessor, Leo opposes the idea of ordaining female deacons. That's in keeping with thousands of years of Catholic understanding, as he told journalists at a 2023 conference."

While Francis was known for his efforts to make the church more open to members of the LGBTQ+ community — famously asking, "Who am I to judge?" — Leo may not follow in his footsteps.

Nearly a decade later, Ray's ministry had been allowed to move to the Augustinians' St. John Stone Friary in Chicago, despite the building being near a Catholic elementary school, the Chicago-Sun Times reported in 2021. Records obtained by the paper show that church officials approved the transfer, noting there was "no school in the immediate area."

Another defender of child fuckers.

He's from the US. I think it was obvious from the get go what his stances would be in some aspects considering the christofascist state of the country.

He probably contributed to how anti-science US got to this point.
