Tbh i still don't get it why votes of 5 so called "music experts" per nation are equally important to votes of hundreds of thousands of people.
Voting already shows how different the perception is from both sides
Just to be clear, i'm not here into Israel-Palestine topic. My opinion about the system is unchanged since the very first voting, where the results were showed separately (when Poland got second to last number of points from jury's and then got third best voting score from public)

I'm from Poland. I cri everytimAs in the late 90s and early 2000s the quality of the performances declined, the juries were introduced to ensure the "quality" of the songs has a strong influence and not just the most funny performance.
Because the voting of the public is 30% about the song and 70% other reasons. It must be a really good song to make you vote for it, and since you can multi vote you gonna cheat anyway.
I didnt want to watch Eurovision ever, because i knew from the 1st moment this is a stupid show that has little to do with music, but my ex made me to. The difference between Jury and public for Israel supports my theory.
