This was such a good shitty shooter. It's one of those games that I absolutely love and can never recommend to anyone.

I honestly think it is, for the exact genre conventions of the time, an excellent shooter. The levels are well-laid out, the enemies mechanically varied and reactive, and all of the weapons feel unique without any of them feeling useless, especially since ammo runs out so fast and you have to mix-and-match a bit.

Unfortunately, there's a reason that exact shooter genre was left behind.
