Did ya ever nick your dads bike and go for a sedate spin to the beach for ice-cream? has to be sedate, she's 60 years old now, runs like a watch. with loud exhausts coz' them internals have long rotted away :)

Think I'd better bring home some ice-cream.

That is a pristine old bike. Is it restored or has dad owned it since new?

This one is restored, we a have a 305 that's a real survior, rode that a few years ago, horrible gearbox!

Lol, gearboxes on everything improved tremendously through the 70's/80's/90's. Though bikes seemed to improve more before cars, I suspect because they're sequential.

I had a 1980 Kawasaki long ago that spoiled me, transmission was like butter.

The 305 came out just before the blackbomber, I mentioned the gearbox because the 450's gearbox is way nicer, apart from some 1-2 cruchy changes it could pass for a modern bikes change any day.it was better then my old 94 cbr600 thats for sure.
