Are you referring to a specific city? The city my family is in can live in very comfortably on $700 a month. That’s why I’m reluctant to agree. If you were specifically thinking of Shanghai or something that would make more sense.
Yeah I suppose you're right, I've only heard about this regarding Guangdong and the likes. That said the cost of living is still significantly less than most Western countries. I suppose I just meant that it's easier to adapt and avoid the social issues if you have money but that applies anywhere.
I’m sure by Guangdong you’re thinking more Guangzhou?
