How long have you had that plant? I propagated one from a neighbor about 4 years ago and it has hardly grown (planted directly in the ground). It’s probably 50% thicker than the one in the photo, but is still the same +/- 2 ft long as when I planted it. Looks otherwise healthy.
Lots of water....runs contrary to what youd think a cactus wants....lots of sun. It's been about 5 years for this one.
So weird. I’m in south Florida so (ordinarily) there’s no shortage of water. Maybe I’ll pull it out and put it in direct sunlight - currently it’s in maybe a 2/3 sun spot.
Mine is under a screened patio, sun all day. I have to keep my stuff inside the screens or the iguanas eat everything.
