Okay. So while you could daily drive a proxmox machine it's generally better to have it as server infrastructure. For example my proxmox server serves all my docker services and my nas. I wouldnt really recommend running a windows VM or linux lxc as your daily driver. You certainly can, but its kinda clunky.
Besides just ditching windows as much as possible, what are you looking to do with this machine?
Ditching windows can be as easy as dual booting your machine, ie installing both linux and windows on one device then switching between them as needed.
