Nah. She’s a reactionary. Helps spread a lot of propaganda for the US military. Wants to maintain her own privilege, and platforms voices who do the same.
Very far left for a liberal, but still a liberal.
she's antiwar. what military propaganda has she spread??
She’s been working to manufacture consent for NATO operations for at least a decade now.
i have never seen any such thing. can you point to something?
He can't.
i'm open to being wrong, but i always thought she was a (kind of) boring pacifist.
if i'm wrong, and she's been pushing pro-military propaganda, that's insidious, and i'd like very much to be able to support such a claim before believing (and spreading) it.
Surph_ninja is wrong. (edited for clarity)
can you provide some evidence?
Oh shoot. I thought I was responding to the surph_ninja guy. Super sorry!
I simply say you're not. Look at his replies in the post in his profile, you know what he did just for the background
Tell me you're a Tankie without telling me you're a Tankie
Got another pro-war liberal right here. 👆
Tell me you've never watched her show without saying you've never watched her show.
I grew disillusioned with her precisely because I watched her show so much. How else would I know about her? Not exactly a well known person in most circles.
NPR has been manufacturing consent for the military industrial complex from day one. Same as PBS. Chomsky wrote about their methods in Manufacturing Consent, and that came out in 1988.
she's on Pacifica.
Yeah, but I was replying to a comment about NPR.
