Its up to date, they just haven't enabled the option to actually fix the problem that came in the new update.

I think .world is a net positive to the fediverse, but its still too big.

Yeah I know that. I just didn't think it was a detail worth getting into in a short pithy comment.

I guessed so, but I think having the option, and choosing NOT to enable it is far worse.
