The republicans fear their base, the democrats loathe their base.

Republicans definitely loathe their base

[–] [email protected] 15 points 2 months ago

Maybe, but the fear prevents them from expressing as much; they regularly change their positions and messaging to match whatever the rabid hogs that make up the core of their base are baying for.

Meanwhile democrats see it as a virtue to stand up to their base. West Wing has done irreparable damage to their brains.

they fear and loath them.

that because republicans will stop voting for them in a hearbeat; while democrats will also vote blue no matter who ... and what.

Dems literally just lost because their base didn't show up what are you talking about?

they lost the presidential election, we still have mostly the same dems as before

we still have mostly the same dems as before

What does that have to do with Dems always voting blue when they clearly didn't? To remind you what your point was since you seem to have forgotten:

democrats will also vote blue no matter who … and what.

it's simple: they either vote blue or they don't vote

Yes and not voting blue is the antithesis of:

vot[ing] blue no matter who

But also, Republicans vote Red or don't vote. It's in the name. You keep making meaningless points.
