I tried to improve my Norwegian by reading like language learner beginner books, but they are soooooooo boring and I just cannot bring up any interest in the umpteenth "This is Maria, she is a student and moved to Oslo for her studies" story.

My intro to Norwegian was "Norsemen" on Netflix and then Fleksnes Fataliteter, but Norsemen seems to only be available in Norwegian on nrk.no, which seems impossible to use without a fødselsnummer.

I also tried to find YouTubers that speak Norwegian, but most Skandinavians seem to prefer talking in English 😬

Are there any free streaming sites where I can legally watch Norwegian TV shows or movies?

NRK has many films and series that are accessible from outside of Norway. If you have a VPN you can also watch those that are region locked.
