Nice, I'm excited about my next project (and I finish projects)!

So I'm just another guy trying to build a mosquito killing laser turret. We've got an idea that we know exists and works in practice for getting positional data for targeting mosquitoes. We're moderately sure it'll work with the raspberry pi (and friends) that we just got delivered, at least software wise.

Our issue right now is that neither of us have the knowledge needed to design the PCB we need to connect our sensors to the pi, and obviously it's not made commercially. And I don't think I have the programming skills to make or modify a driver.

So Monday we're gonna be calling around to various programs that are in line with our research to see if they're willing to discuss their solutions.

I love making stuff. It feels good, and life really sucks these days. I also love talking to researchers because they're so passionate about whatever their topic is, and they really just want to talk about it and for people to ask good questions. I ask good questions sometimes lol.

I can't explain too much yet because the patent is still being written. But oh my goodness I am excited. This thing really might work.

That sounds like fun! Visible wavelength laser or infrared?
