And central America. If it said "Latin America" instead, it would be correct.
U.S.A. and Canada are born from Spanish, French and British colonisation, Britain is a French colony, therefore, they are also part of Latin America !
And we're all just stardust anyway.
Central America is officially a part of North America, though, as is the Caribbean. Otherwise, North America would consist of only two or three countries, depending on how you classify Mexico 🤷
Actually I thought NA was just 3 countries (or 4 if you count Greenland).
But also, continents are a social construct. America is one continent, is 2 continents, is 3 continents.
