Trump should give everyone in America a $2000/month payment as some type of ‘universal’ income for ‘basic’ needs and use the money from the tariffs to pay for it.
How about we give ALL the money to corporations to expand employment, with no checks or penalties?
Not sure if your sarcastic but why not give it all to consumers and let the them boost the economy which in turn create jobs?
Yeah, it's sarcasm. One reason there wasn't a depression during COVID was the stimulus checks that went straight to consumers. Turns out that when you give money to people that need it, they inject it directly into the economy by buying stuff they need. There's nothing a corporation can do that's as effective as that.
