You’re right. The lack of media literacy and feeling of political apathy have totally fucked us. People are so beaten down they can’t even be bothered to try to do the bare minimum to get people who will actually advocate for change into office. Really disheartening to see for those of us who are paying attention and saw all the warning signs coming for years.

Fair enough. The overlap of illiteracy and critical thinking skills is probably significant.
