The Moomins is a franchise created by finnish author/illustrator Tove Jansson. It features a vast amount of comics, TV series, movies, books and games, telling various stories mostly set in moominvalley.

Wait so Moomin is usually running around naked but puts trunks on when swimming?

And Snufkin is totally going commando under that coat, right?

Cartoon logic.

Donald Duck does this too, he puts on pants to go swimming, but otherwise walks around bottomless.
