Something that I realized about the fediverse is that you seem to be able to criticize the USA as a whole, but if you criticize the Democrats you get downvoted. Democrats suck they are not sacred cows (lemmy.ml)

Umm... Even us on .world agree that Dems are controlled opposition and useless if we want any actual change.

Depends, is it an article about Trump? Democrats are saints who can't fail, only be failed.

Is it an article about Democrats doing nothing that hasn't been removed by the mods yet? You'll probably not be downvoted for saying "Biden should have done more of his promises and getting Trump arrested should have been the priority."
