Fuckin buy Sony or whatever.

Spider-Man works really well as the friendly neighborhood hero, and he works best when he's contrasted with the likes of Daredevil and Punisher. He should be keeping the streets safe and crossing paths with Strange and Moon Knight.

With Mutants, the MCU is about to get crowded, and it's going to make the Holland-sized hole that much more obvious.

You have to remember, Sony is stupid. Also, Sony has leverage. Also Sony is expensive. Basically the odds of Disney buying Sony, or at least Sony Entertainment is low. I know they bought Marvel, Star Wars & 20th Century Fox; but Sony costs even more.

However Sony likes money, so they're usually open to making a deal with Disney but they keep the leash short.

Ideally Spider-Man 4 would have been a reset to street level and we could have had Daredevil et Al in that or future films. (And once you make that normal you can put Spidey on TV.) However the rumors for Spider-Man 4 are BIG WORLD dealings... So that's not likely.
