Please don't minimize the oppression that's coming. It's real. And our former allies won't be able to do much outside of sanctions and asylum.

Project 2025 equates being transgender — or adopting “transgender ideology” — to pornography and declares that it should be outlawed. Under this plan, the federal government would enforce sex discrimination laws on the “biological binary meaning of sex,” and educators and public librarians who spread the concept of being transgender would be registered as sex offenders. The plan says that children should be “raised by their biological fathers and mothers who conceive them,” unless those biological parents are found unfit by a court.

So if we read between the lines, my existence will be a sex offense.

And look at the end there, they're going after all queer families.

There are a lot of things people said they "dont see happening" that have happened under trump and elon. RFK jr has already discussed rounding up people with ADHD and depression in concentration camps. They already have concentration camps for imprisoned immigrants in Panama and El Salvador has offered prisons up as well.

They have been threatening everyone who doesnt support them with jail time, including AOC simply for explaining to immigrants what their rights are. Preventing this kind of thing from actually happening relies on the courts and judges throwing out such cases, but given many judges have resigned, the only people that will soon be left will be aligned with their interests

It might not happen but it doesnt hurt to be prepared for it, because it also might happen

There's precedent for it all up and down history, but the U.S. has thrown people into "cages" of one kind or another for quite some time

That's why the ones with money to flee Europe fled Europe.

I believe that they will make it difficult for trans people to be in public spaces.

If they equate my gender expression with pornography, and I go anywhere children are present, that's a sexual assault charge. If YouTube displays trans content, that's not age restricted, that's displaying pornography to a minor.

That is their plan. Erasure.

Do I think they will do it? I think they're going to try. They've been doing everything else so far.
