A community to satirize conservtive and right-wing "ideals".
This community (now) exists as a pressure valve, a place to process through humor the often frustrating world of conservative politics. Above all, this is NOT the place for serious conservative support/viewpoints/arguments. There are other places on Lemmy for that if you desire it.

Parody With Purpose: This is a space for humorous takes on conservative politics. We welcome satire, but draw the line at content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, or other forms of bigotry.

Memes Over Manifestos: This community focuses on humor and parody, not serious political debate. There are plenty of spaces for earnest conservative discussion, this isn’t one of them.

Highlight Contradictions: Sometimes the best content points out inconsistencies and hypocrisies in conservative talking points. Creative commentary is encouraged.

Public Figures Fair Game: Politicians and pundits can be satirized, but no targeting of private individuals, doxxing, or harassment.
Children of public figures under the age of 14 are also off-limits, a 16 year old has enough free agency to break with or adopt their parents views. An 8 year old kid doesn't.

No News Zone: Memes only, news or other serious content should be sent to the nearest relevant comm. Meme's of current events, however, are encouraged.

Clear Satire: Make your satirical intent reasonably clear. We’re here to mock bad ideas, not accidentally spread them. If you're unsure how it will be taken, feel free to DM the mod team ahead of time or explicitly tag it as satire in the body.
A note on ChadMcTruth: Chad's content is 100% satire, but his work can sometimes be hard to tell, but if he posted it be assured, its satire.
- Relevant Content: All posts should relate to conservative politics or ideologies in some way somewhere in your post. Either in the title or the meme itself.

Are you a nihilist?
Is realist an nihilist all that much different than a slightly different point of view of the same scenery?
A nihilist is good with destruction and has no objection to physical violence including inflicting death.
I am many things. People label me with many different words. Nihilist is one that certainly fits at certain points in life. Misanthrope is another. Life is the closest thing to heaven that any of us will ever reach, and not enough people realize that. But also - we're not the protagonist even in our own story. The universe is so big, and our lives so short. We're lucky enough to live here and now, where we have the understanding of the universe at our fingertips, and people are too busy worrying "inward".
People need to stop worrying about what box they want to label themselves with, and forget all this bullshit. Stop being "Conservative" or "Liberal" or "Man" or "Woman" and drop the labels. Just fucking be you, just do you, and be righteous to one another. This shit is all a sham (all of it) designed to keep you angry at the wrong people.
While I do not accept misanthropy as a worldview or a philosophy, and you are a wrong to believe there is not a greater paradise that surpasses all human imagination or comprehension, I do somewhat agree with your broader point, but I also hear emotions clouding objective analysis. But I strongly agree that all people need to get outside of themself.
You will be dead a lot longer than you were ever alive. If someone spends everyday avoiding death, they will never live, never find life.
You will always have emotions. You should probably at least acknowledge them when making choices as they’re deep seated alarm bells in your body.
That's where mind over matter comes into effect.
What you are describing is willful denial. Yes, I know you don't (and are not able to) see it that way. That's how it works.
It could be willful denial, but I’m reading it more as someone with a poor and incomplete understanding of emotional detachment, the times and reasons to use it, and the life shatteringly bad stuff that happens to your brain if you use it as a primary coping skill.
