The Red Shirts are ramping up, give 'em a bit to get organized. Steve Bannon said, regarding the roundup of immigrants, (I paraphrase), "Obviously there isn't enough sworn officers at any level of government to pull this off. We're going to have to look at getting local groups of patriots together."
Been saying for years they're coming. If there's anyone brown in your house, they will eventually come knocking. ATM, we can tell ICE to get bent without a warrant. Expect that right to be suspended and expect posses to be sworn in on a thin Bible. LGBT is down the road a fair bit, but it will happen. Next, and in between, come outspoken liberals.
If you haven't got armed, learned and trained, it is not too late. But defense is a steep learning curve to the uninitiated. /r/liberalgunowners is the finest source of beginner advice I know of. (Yes, it's reddit. No, lemmy has nothing comparable.)

You don't sound nutty. The number of people I have had to explain why it's time to begin arming ourselves is stupid. I honestly just want to leave this country. The population is so fucking asleep I am done giving a shit for them.
