This second album from Tomahawk is another recent addition to my collection, but I have the OG 1st ed pre-order CD in a drawer somewhere.
At this point Tomahawk consisted of (ex-)members of Faith No More, Jesus Lizard, Helmet, and Melvins. For the Mike Patton fans, this was probably the most FNM-like project the singer was part of after that band went on hiatus?
"Mit Gas" is its own beast, though, and has a bit more variety than the tight, noirish first album by Tomahawk. I'm appreciating their discography more and more as time goes by, but this was the record where I realised they were more than a one off project.
