Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

My cat used to yell if he had gone a bit without seeing anyone. I would just call out "we're right here!" and he'd prance into the room all happy to know we're around.
The comic seems to be misinterpreting cat language for dog language (like when dogs whine to get a reassuring touch/affection).
Cats aren't dogs. They don't communicate like dogs. Don't treat them like dogs then blame them for not behaving like a dog.
Well dogs' social cues are much more similar to human ones so they're much easier to understand.
Absolutely! It's just sad to see people misunderstanding and looking down on cats because they don't bother to learn their language.
My cats were meant to be dogs. They prance up and scream, trill, or beep at us until we pet them. Then they flump down on the floor/bed and show their bellies, for extra pets. Forever. And if we stop…. We get the beeps.
Except for Maine Coons, which are among the most dog-like cats I've ever met. (Not to take anything away from other breeds, I love all cats😸 .)
