Also, it's easier to maintain a steady jog pace rather than running all over the place like in soccer.
(They studied soccer players and found they don't actually cover much distance. But it's exhausting.)
11km in 90 minutes, if anyone's interested. I wouldn't call that "not much distance"
A lot of sprinting in those 7 miles too. Aint that many "long distance sprinters" for a reason.
