this is very self-serving ass covering from the rationalist sphere

there's a glaring hole in it: what precisely the break was between Ziz and her friends and the rest of the rationals. this isn't detailed.

BlueAnon (a portmanteau of blue and QAnon) is a term used to describe conspiracy theories which posit Donald Trump's engagement in elaborate schemes to unlawfully seize or maintain control of the United States Government, independently or as the object of manipulation by foreign governments.

Huh? This doesn't sound unreasonable.

Another BlueAnon theory posits that Ivana Trump was secretly cremated by Donald Trump to free room in her coffin to hide self-incriminating documents so as to conceal them from discovery by investigators.

Oh. All right.

Man, if only there were some way to get rid of documents permanently. Like how one might get rid of a body by cremating it. Oh well, time to secretly hide these binders in a coffin.

That being said I’ve heard the alternative theory that trump buried her on mar-a-lago grounds (or wherever the fuck it was) so that he could claim that the grounds were a graveyard, for tax purposes. (I do not believe this)

To be fair, the highest-level claims of just about any conspiracy theory sound at least plausible. Even Qanon tends to start off with claims that are basically confirmed by the Epstein case before they start extending the conspiracy to more places, incorporating Jesus, and excluding their preferred Messiah figures.

Yes, blueanon is the people who go write a few things, and then the first things are reasonable stuff, and then after that it goes completely crazy off the wall wild with speculation. Like they see one fact, and then they just imagine some wild fantasy world. (And because a lot of people go 'well sometimes they have a point, so we should listen to them' they get attention (ignoring that you can just not listen to them and still hear the actually true points from other less sensational (and less crazy) sources). A good example of this is Seth Abrahamson who recently wrote a thing on Musk which was just crazy (and he called himself an expert on Musk because he was watching him the past two years or so (if that makes him an expert, im a fucking musk research university))
