Work Reform

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

Just say you didn't bother reading the article.
This is about the truck drivers. Now stop putting down your fellow workers for trying to earn enough to remain alive and healthy so they can continue providing their services to the company.
Gladly, I didn't read the article.
Hey, the truck drivers, the cart pushers, every other position at that company deserves a raise as far as I'm concerned.
But those employees at the door can lick my taint if they think they deserve anything above minimum wage for doing FUCK ALL. They don't even break eye contact from the conversation they're having with the receipt checkers when you go through.
Are you that desperate for attention that you need everyone you pass to look at you, or else you find reasons to go online and rant about them? Damn dude... That's sad. I hope you figure things out.
Sorry I just think if somebody is being paid a wage to do a job they should, you know, at least fucking do it?
They are doing the job they were hired for.
Do you believe they shouldn't be able to make a livable wage just because you don't see value in their job?
Do they deserve to starve because they try to break up the monotony of their job by talking to co-workers?
Does everyone who doesn't acknowledge you deserve your scorn?
You think Costco hired them to stand there and talk to their co-worker all day?
Did you watch them all day?
How about my other questions?
I shop at costco at least once a week and since they put those machines up I've literally never seen one of those employees doing anything but chatting. Oh, sorry was I scheduled for an interrogation?
Unlike those card booping machine "watchers" I'm not getting paid for this chat.
Stop scanning your card for a few visits and report back.
I never argued the machine wasn't doing its job. In fact, I bet it could do it without the presence of a social butterfly hovering over it all day.
