They don’t need to know for me to enjoy it.
So as long as it "hurts the right people" you're happy?
Even though it hurts the "wrong people" too?
Yeah, OP's take has always sounded pretty psychopathic to me. I feel the same about, "We deserve to be wiped out by climate change," even though a small minority of the world population created a large majority of the greenhouse gases. If climate change only wiped out fossil fuel execs, maybe that would be deserved.
What am I supposed to do?
Yeah it sucks for everyone affected, but I voted against the idiot that wanted to do it. However, quite a few others voted for him - against their own interests - and won't listen to reason. Medicaid is usually considered part of that "third rail" of politics - touch it and you get electrocuted politically, but here we are.
I would like to hear what you think we should do.
Organize. Then, a general strike.
I don't know. But I do know that the correct answer usually isn't to find pleasure in the suffering of others, especially in cases where many of those who will suffer did nothing to deserve it. That type of thinking is no better than the people on the "other side" who want to see the "right people" suffer even though it doesn't improve their own suffering at all.
I hear and understand your position. But please consider the position of all those people who didn't vote for this and will still suffer because of it before you smile about the people who did.
I won't take glee in it, but I will take a stance of, "This is what this country voted for."
I say, bring on the tariffs, too. Yep, it's going to suck for a lot of people. But that's apparently the only way anyone is going to learn. Not Trump fans; I don't expect them to learn a damn thing, as a group. But the rest of the country will hopefully learn why voting for Trump was a bad idea and maaaaaybe give a bit more thought to the next election, assuming there is one.
lol, you gotta scroll up
Medicaid helps the poor. As far as centrists are concerned, cuts are hurting the right people in all cases.
We all know how they feel. I want to know how

feels.
