Love when people out how sexist they really are. They're two consenting adults but for "some reason" yall cannot accept that an adult woman can willingly enter in a relationship with a man of her choice and have to automatically accuse her of playing into some pedo fantasies, being a victim of an abuser, or that she's just dumb.

Every thread about Leo and his current woman brings out the sexism. I've always figured it's the incels who can't get a date that figure woman have to be tricked, as if a young woman has no agency.

Just one actually has a fully formed frontal lobe and the other is a child by every other metric EXCEPT for the arbitrary age we decided people are now legally responsible.

In no other country but America would anyone call someone a pedo for dating a 19-year-old woman but we love to infantilize women so therefore it can't simply be two of-age adults in a similar social group dating -they're literally just dating - something nefarious must be going on.

What's the misunderstanding here then? Because all I see is Ver. 3000 of the same Reddit-tier circlejerk thread that tries to make some argument about a celebrity being a pedophile but always, inevitably just ends up perpetuating the infantilization of adult women and robbing them of their agency.
The legal definition of Adult and the concept of adult as it pertains to humans is not a direct correlation.
Nobody is infantilizing her by thinking it is pretty icky and gross for him to continue to pursue women who are just legally eligible for him to date.
If you’re confused by this I am sure continuing to argue your point won’t make you look like you’re advocating for this sort of thing.

Of course I'm aware of the differences between mature/immature and adult/minor. On that point I'll say again that America defines one of the longest "childhoods" in the western world and that still isn't enough for some misogynists when a woman ages out of that and starts acting like... a woman. Not one of us ITT know either person but I'm more willing to bet that Leonardo DiCaprio, who's spent almost his whole life in the closed-off Hollywood Clubhouse is more immature than a model who at least attended "normal people" school, lived in "normal people" society, is less mature.
But that's the thing: they are infantlizing her. Every piece of criticism comes from her age which is perceived as being "too young." To say that LD only dates women who are "just legally eligible for him" comes from nothing and is so insulting to these women, like they have no say in the matter because, again, it's hard for you to believe that an adult woman has any agency.
It reduces her entire person to just her numerical age. You need to look no further than the OP pic itself that makes it a point to highlight her age. Curiously, no mention of how old LD is, only this obsession with the woman's age and that she's too young. It's fucking weird.
