It's insane how bright those things are in person. Passed by them heading from Primm over to what's left of Nipton a couple years back. Didn't think HELIOS-1 was based on anything real until then - and then I saw there were three towers instead of just the one.

Fun fact: sometimes when birds fly through the focal point they catch fire and crash from the heat
