For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.
Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Defending celebrities? What, did an actor steal your mom away from your dad or something? I don't know any or give a shit about anyone in Hollywood bud, keep your vivid imagination going if that makes you feel better.
The real point is they're not worth the effort if we're going to address real issues. You really think commercials are what are ruining so many people's lives? Really, you're that dense?

You responded to my original comment about how I think that it’s unhealthy for people to have an obsession with celebrities and for whatever reason you decided to focus on the wrong part.
Are you trying to say that billionaires are worse? I am not disagreeing. All I am saying is that people need to stop giving a fuck what celebrities are doing and what they think. People need to focus more on individualism instead of some moron fad a celebrity is into.

You said being a fan of celebrities is dangerous to society. You said it was due to their influence. Really just trying to give you the benefit of the doubt that you had a point. Since you're so insistent refusing to come up with anything, I guess not
If you really think it’s a huge leap in critical thinking to imagine how someone can use their celebrity status to abuse people then that sounds like you’re extremely naive. That’s how you end up with assholes Bill Cosby. What’s the matter little buddy? Are you not getting enough attention at home?
