I know I'm just old - but I never got into this show due to the documentary style filming with the wobbly cameras. It's like The Office, but in the dark.

I really gave it a try since I'm a big fan of Douglas Reynholm........just couldn't watch.

That's too bad. It's one of my favorite shows. At first you don't know the characters so everyone is weird, but then you fall in love with them and I crack up all the time.

It's kind of like arrested development, in that it is funnier when rewatching it than it was the first time through lol

I always laugh when the cursed doll is around. The freaking thing is so funny!

I get it. It kind of distracts from it for me too.

However, for me, after the first three episodes, the funny took care of that.

I didn't start until I heard it was on the last season because I'm worn out on starting shows just to have them drop with no real ending. Haven't gotten very far in yet, but it's worth the adjustment it took.

I also don't think the first half of season one was exactly the best either. It took them a while to really nail things.

So this show has a great cast with great writing and great cameos, but I never laugh once while watching it.
