I've been buying a lot of marijuana accessories lately and noticed a lot of the companies (ball vapes, bongs, quartz etc) are based in Texas or Florida. Wondered why they seem to gravitate to those states where it's still illegal to have marijuana. I just assumed taxes must be low for businesses.
Texas and Florida have no income tax. It's a good place to be if you have a high income, it's less great for low income as the property tax is a bigger relative hit than most states income taxes.
Washington doesn't have income tax either.
