How hard is it to manipulate votes on Lemmy instances? I'm guessing the answer varies depending on the instance but I don't think it's completely impossible on any of them.
Very easy
To back this statement up, there was/is a vegan community that would ban anyone who downvoted a post in their community so that sub would jump to the frontpage, because anyone who was banned could no longer vote on its content.
