Many years back I used to follow debates of atheists vs christians and calvinists were always the worst bunch.
In my experience there are two types of Calvinists. One group is actually really chill, they'll explain their beliefs but they're not pushy, because anyone meant to be saved will be. They also aren't real concerned about being public morality police because they expect sinners to behave like sinners.
The other group literally is just Calvinists because it's a way to consider themselves intrinsically better than other people, because they're chosen and others aren't.
In what way were they the worst? Were their arguments exceptionally bad?
As bad as any other but more easily fell to non sense, as the basic argument stemmed from the notion of everything being pre determined and using the notion of nothing can be said without pre suposing and accepting an all powerful creating deity, which led to circular reasoning and callous indiference towards even the most basic of argument.
