And robots already do your laundry and dishes. We have machines for that! You just throw stuff in and then take it out an hour later! There was an entire century of engineers trying to Rosie The Robot that shit, and that's also only recently feasible, via Boston Dynamics kinds of budgets. LLMs and image generators are only what's happening now because we gave up on trying to be clever and plowed ahead with the tools that worked. This is what emerged. Is it not what you wanted? Join the club! The people who did it wanted proper AI they could teach fact and fiction. Best we can do is vivid hallucination.
