So far, um... I'm playing a 90's fantasy anime and it's wholesome as shit.

I lost my Miyoo Mini in Greece and want to buy another.

It's noticeably better than the 35XXsp I got to replace it.

How so? Most of what I've read has drawn the opposite conclusionπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

The buttons on the Miyoo are much better. There are videos on disassembling the SP and putting tape over the buttons to try and fix them.

GarlicOS is much better on the Miyoo compared to SP stock or Muos. It's a super quick save/power off/boot/restore so when you hit power you are back in your game but because it's a real power off instead of sleep, you always have power. (Which is why I stopped using my Restroid.)

The SP can do save/restore but it's slower. The power button is particularly weird. You press power, wait two seconds, light comes on, then it boots.

The only thing the SP has going for it is the form factor.

Thank you for the detailed reply! My bad, I confused this with the Miyoo Flip since the comparison was with the SP. I'd tend to agree that in comparison to anything of a V or H form factor the Anbernic SP is underwhelming πŸ‘

GarlicOS? Do you mean OnionOS?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 4 days ago

Yeah I get them mixed up.

I think OnionOS is for the Miyoo Mini, and GarlicOS is for Anbernic devices.

Onion os is a treasure. The devs are awesome.
