Do you think they could get rid of the Gatland rule about players staying in Wales then copy Scotland by pulling in every eligible player from overseas?
Yes, but I do suspect the welsh diaspora isn't as wide so am not how effective it would be. Project players are also thin on the grounds with 5 year rule. The bigger sea change would be welsh stars going to England/France for a payday. In Scotland this is celebrated as other players then can step up and the wage bill goes further. Wales don't want this so stars play for club, but it's obviously costing then dearly. Plenty of Welsh eligible are English qualified too. And they're going to England
