This seems more noble than a lot of hacker groups interestingly enough. Ticketmaster moreorless has a monopoly on the concert ticket fields. this could likely be the reason for this hack. If it's consumer base loses faith in the platform they will have less power over the pricing.

That being said, how did a breached database cause these issues, were they not following industry practices of salt+hash? a breach like that shouldn't have allowed something like this
