Google Photos on the web is streamlining image backups from computers with a new automatic folder backup feature.

Maybe I don't want my every saved picture used to train some shitty AI. Or sold to some other corp who'll use it for that or worse.

So you don't have to set it up? If you don't want your photos uploaded to Google photos you should not use that service and especially you should not tell Google to backup your computer
