I think it was a she, reading the article.

The company is doing a promo for their food. They're just a small business, so margins will be extremely tight. They're using the All You Can Eat thing to get people in, try their stuff, and hopefully either come back later or leave a good review somewhere

It's called a loss leader

This selfish cunt ordered more than she could possibly eat in one sitting, then asked to take it home. That's probably about a 20% loss for the aforementioned small business owners

Guy is just trying to get his business noticed in a massively crowded market, and a fucking greedy pig comes in and not only acts in a horribly selfish manner, but then writes an incredibly damaging piece of trash journalism?

If you've ever run your own business, you'd want to slap that bitch into next week

She should either be supporting local businesses as much as she can, or stick to giving her fucking money to massive billionaire conglomerates then complaining when all the restaurants sell cheap shit

Why is everyone assuming the author intended to waste the food? You're assuming a malicious actor, when instead they were at best a foolish one. They ordered more food than they could eat. They didn't order food with the intent to destroy it or harm the business.

Having an all you can eat promo guarantees customers will not behave perfectly because the normal routine of ordering and eating being paired to price and consumption is discarded (flat price).

If the business is worried about spiralling food waste they should reconsider the promo as it is inherently wasteful compared to other dining standards. If they want to keep the promo they should pace delivery of food to anticipate customer behavior.

Suggesting an ignorant / mistaken customer is a "bitch" who needs to be "slapped into next week" is yikes.

I didn't say that at all, in any way

They were greedy, then when called out on it, reacted by trying to damage a small business

There's no better description of A Bitch ©®™

Secondly, I said that the owner would be right to want to slap a bitch into next week, not me. If you'd ever run a business you'd feel the same

You clearly haven't
