Police bring charges not people here (for criminal) so it wasn’t even up to the neighbour

The judge can have it thrown out

Regular people don’t bring charges in the States either. The Prosecutor will sometimes take what they want into account, but it’s not required.

Weird, on American tv they ask if the person wants to press charges
