I made a sandwich out of the small tin of kippers.
It was smoked and salted very nice and here was surprisingly a lot of meat to make a sandwich out of.
Texture was nice and soft but the smoked taste of it was so delicious.
This was the Brunswick kippers as well.
Glad your enjoying them! I ate a tin of Brunswick Kippers with some hotsauce for lunch/a snack. Even though I've had them them a few times now, I was literally just thinking to myself: omg... These are so damn good, how is this tin under $2
I’d definitely think about getting more of them. I love it so much more than tuna. I don’t like the texture of tuna as much as the kippers or even herring.
100% agree. I don't mind canned tuna, but I actually just really enjoy sardines and herring/Kippers. Also been enjoying mussels, but not as much as the Kippers for sure. Completely different taste and texture to tuna
I still have the John west kippers to try as well
I’ll probably save it for next’s lunch or something. Will be interesting to see if it’s as good as the one I had today.
I haven’t tried sardines. Are they very salty and what is the texture of them like compared to Herring?
